One of several Spring Creek Barbeque locations surrounding Dallas. The brisket is ok, but a little dry. The tiny portion of bbq sauce was too tiny to make a difference, but I consumed the entire sandwich. The mac 'n cheese was good, but also drier than I would have liked it, while the beans were hot and fresh, but in need of some more Texas spiciness. Overall, I'd like to return and try the ribs, I hear they're good!
Went to visit a buddy in Plano and we ended up having lunch here. The restaurant was reasonably clean and the food was pretty good as well! I tried the brisket and pulled pork which was great! They had a person walking around with fresh biscuits that were fresh and hot and tasted great. The beans were just okay and I wish they had collared greens but they did not. Pretty good overall experience!
This place is great and the food is exceptional. The reason for four stars is the price. $25 for lunch? Guess this really isn't their fault.
Money hungry!! First of all, the food is great. They also bring you rolls and ice cream to your table. But man, do you pay for it. Overpriced everything. Every meal is over $10 and all drinks are $3. I’m very suspicious because the same overcharge has happened at two locations with different employees at least 3 times now. Leads me to think they are purposefully trained to charge you more on purpose. They will charge you a brisket plate when you got a chopped baker which is a five dollar difference. I asked an employee while I was eating if I could be reimbursed, and she directed me to the manager. The manager didn’t say much, just that I could get up and go do it myself at the counter. Very disappointed in the customer service. The bathrooms were dirty. Toilet paper all over the floor and stuck to my shoes. So I went up to the counter. As the manager, if a customer was overcharged, go handle it for them. And take that item off completely as a way of apology. I was charged for the original meal instead. I would recommend just taking the price off and apologizing. This would be much better customer service.
This place was a bbq restaurant of my preference and I guess for many people. Now days has changed for bad, especially food prices that is to high and is not proportional to the amount of food in your plate. Weight per pound is uncertain, it is by what the servant calculate by eye. We went to this restaurant around 7.00 pm and it was almost empty, a time with high demand to most restaurants. Side orders fall in 2 categories, premiun and regular. Of course, premium are "extra fee as well". Well, fries are PREMIUM, really ? Icecream is you want to order, is separated to food ticket so it is extra fee. Any way. It is up to you guys to go. I'm not. Luis.
